Shiva's Attendants Leave Happily

The two Gurns/attendants of Shiva saw Narad walking along very happily. This terrified them and they came and fell at his feet. They cried for mercy begging him for his forgiveness for they had disguised themselves as Brahmins and had made fun of him. Narad very kindly said, to go and become Rakshas in their next lives. He wished, that they become mighty and strong and lead luxurious lives. When, with the help of their might, they would conquer the whole world, then, Vishnu will take human form, to rid the world of their atrocities. Later, in war they both will be killed by Shri Hari, thus they will gain salvation and be rid of the cycle of rebirth. The two of them were pleased, bowed at the Muni's feet and left. In time they were both born as demons.

Aik Kalp Ayhe Haitu Prabhu Leenha Manuj Avatar

Sur Ranjan Sajjun Sukhad Hari Bhanjan Bhuvi Bhaar

So in one Kalp/era, that God who keeps the Devatas happy, does good for the good people and removes all evil, took Avatar as a human being.

In this way, whenever God took Avatar he performed many different acts. All were documented by poets and writers. The smart and learned people do not argue at what they read about the Lord, because they know that Shri Hari and his works are boundless, and the saints and sages will always sing His praises.

Shiva reiterates to Parvati that even the Rishis and Munis get influenced by the Supreme Being's Maya/illusions. Still, the Lord is playful, helps the meek, and is easily pleased and is very kind and merciful.

Now, Shiva tells Parvati, that he is ready to tell her the second reason why the One who is Omniscient, Nirgun and who never dies took an Avatar, and was the King of Ayodhya. That is the Ram, she saw in her previous birth as Sati, who was roaming the woods weeping for his wife, with his brother Lakshman. Shiva said that he will tell her all that Ram did in that Avatar and that she should listen intently.

You all might remember Yagyavalk is also telling this story to Bharadwaj. He tells him that when Parvati heard Shiva narrating these beautiful stories, she smiled and got settled in, so that she could hear more .

Guess what, why don't you my children, nieces and nephews, and whoever else Ram has blessed by my blog, relax and put your feet up and pay attention!! As Yagyavalk said, this saga of Ram drives away all evisl of Kalyug (the era that we are in) will do good for you and most of all is very sweet to hear or read in your case!!! Then we will have Ram Rajya! JAI HO!
