Bhagwan/God, A Paragon Of Beauty

Their are no words to describe what Manu and his wife saw with their own eyes. They stood there, transfixed, trying to take it all in. Bhagwan's body was glowing against the backdrop like a blue lotus, maybe a blue sapphire or even a simple pure light blue nimbus cloud. It was a sight to behold the wheatish blue complexion that would put a million Kaamdev's (one who is very proud of his looks) to shame.

His mouth, was like the full moon on a dark night, at the height of it's beauty, as also the cheeks and the chin were. The throat had the shape of a curvaceous conch shell with three exquisite lines. With red lips and sparkling teeth and again a smile so endearing that it would put the moonlight to shame .

The eyes were like a blooming fresh lotus that would please and sooth the eyes. The eyebrows were perfectly arched just like the bow of Kaamdev, only his, was no comparison. The forehead was lit up with red tilak (mark).

The adornments in His ears were shaped like beautiful fish while he wore a magnificent crown on his head. The crop of cascading curly hair seemed as if beautiful little butterflies were sitting there. His chest was covered with a ravishing garlands of flowers, and necklaces studded with innumerable gems and precious stones.

A simple yet charming Janayoo(baptismal thread) hung around a neck that resembled the beauty of a lion's neck. Bhagwan's muscles were very taut and toned and looked like an elephant's trunk (curvy) . With an ornamental belt around his belly and a bow and arrow in His hands, Manu could see His (Bhagwan's) stomach had three lines ( just like a six pack I suppose!) and a navel that seemed as if it had the depth of rivers in it. The aura around him was golden that would put lightening in the sky to shame. Bhagwan was truly a picture of beauty and perfection personified.

Those feet that have a permanent place in the minds of munis, were so perfect in beauty that one can not simply describe them. On his left hand side He was flanked by the ever agreeable, epitome of beauty and glamour who was the world' s mother Shri Janakiji. From a cell in her body several Parvatis and Lakshmis are born and from the twitch of her brows, an universe is created that Bhagwan's alter ego Shri Sita stood on his left side.

Manu and Satrupa were mesmerized, and did not blink so that they could behold the spectacular scene that had unfolded in front of their eyes. Total bliss had enveloped them, that they had no sense of who and where they were. With folded arms they fell at the Lord's feet, as if in some kind of exercise. The Supreme Being touched their foreheads, blessed them and promptly picked them up.

Then, One who is so kind, said to Manu and Satrupa, to consider Him very pleased and the biggest philanthropist, and ask for whatever they wished to have.

Let us see what boon they asked for. It is hard to know what to ask for, when one has a choice to ask for anything!! In Ram Rajya however, we must not act in haste but always think, before we leap! JAI HO!
