Ram Avatar

Parvati thanked Shiva profusely for clearing all her doubts. Now her mind was clear with the true picture of Ram in her heart. Still she was not done yet. She wanted Shiva to continue on, and explain to her why Ram, even though he was Bramh, is eternal and lives in all our hearts still needed to be born as a human.

So Shiva asked Parvati to listen to the comforting Ram Charitra Manas which was first narrated by Kakbhusundh to Garud, the king of birds. That dialogue, between the two birds will come later on in the story, for now we shall talk about Ram Avatar. There are countless attributes , names, stories, and forms of Shri Hari but Shivji said that he would try to the best of his ability to describe them.

" Listen Parvati "Shiva said," The Vedas have sung the praises of Hari. But nobody can ever say the real reason for an Avatar or point out one reason for it. Their could be several reasons for an Avatar or there could be reasons we do not even know about!! According to me, Shiva said, and the munis and saints, it is very difficult to gauge Hari but one thing is for sure, and that is":

Shivji said that whenever crime takes center stage and the gang of proud Rakshas/demons becomes strong and the Brahmins, cows, Devtas and the earth cannot bear the atrocities any longer, that is when the all merciful God takes different forms to appease his flock. H e kills the demons and establishes the stronghold of the Devtas and the sanctity of the Vedas. This is how good prevails over evil and this is the reason for the avatar of Ram.

There are again different reasons for Shri Ramchandra to take birth and one is more peculiar than the other. So Shiva said that he will tell her about one or two of them in great detail and Parvati should listen intently.
