Parvati's Doubts Vanish

To make things clear to Parvati for once and for all, Shiva espouses further. He tells her that because of their ignorance people do not understand their own doubts but start casting aspersions on Ram. Just like, if they see clouds in the sky they assume that the clouds have covered the sun. Similarly, people who poke their own eye with their fingers will naturally see two moons. To see this kind of illusion and believe in it is just like seeing darkness in the sky and putting the blame on the smoke and dust for it. The sky however cannot be touched, be felt or be maligned just as Ram cannot be touched.

As Parvati's question was a complicated one the answer was not simple. So Shiva is simplifying it by giving her some examples. He gives an illustration about the simple acts of smelling, hearing, tasting that we do everyday which are monitored by our senses, which are controlled by the devtas of the senses who in turn are controlled by the intellect. All the sensory organs of our bodies and the higher up chain in the end is illumined by the One who illuminates the whole world and that is Ram the King of Ayodhya.

This world is all light and Ram is the switch that makes it all lit. He is the master, the illusionist
the ultimate Swami. Just like in a conch shell one can see silver and in the rays of the sun we can see water, but it is all an illusion, similarly this world is dependent on God. Even though that illusion is not true it still gives us grief just like if in a dream, your head is cut off the pain will not go away till you are awake.

Shivji says to Parvati that with whose grace that kind of illusion is erased, that God is no other than Ram. He was never born and he is eternal, even the Vedas have only sung his praises through their knowledge. The Vedas have sung that this Bramh (Ram) can walk without feet, hear without ears, can do many things without hands, without a mouth can enjoy all the six tastes, has no voice but is an orator, without a body one can feel it's touch, can see without any eyes and smell without a nose. That Bramh's doings are so profound that they cannot be described in words.

Jeyhin Emi Gaavahin Ved Budh Jaahi Dharahin Muni Dhyaan

Soee Dasrath Suth Bhagat Hith Kausalpati Bhagawan

Shivji says that whose praises the Vedas, Puranas have sung and on whom the Munis have meditated upon, that son of Dashrath, who always helps his devotees and is the Swami of Ayodha, he is Bhagwan Shri Ramchandra.

Shiva continues, by saying that with the blessings of Ram's name, he gives this Rammantra to people who are dying in Kashi and they attain salvation. He is his Swami who knows what is in everybodys heart. Those people who take his name even though it may be in vain, even their sins of several lives are washed away. And those who chant his name religiously go through life without any difficulty and achieve Moksha in the end.

That Supreme being is Ramchandra 'O Parvati' Shiva said. Just to think that he is not Bramh is ludicrous and whoever thinks like that are insane. Listening to Shiva 's vivid explanations, all of Parvati's doubts melted and her belief in Ram doubled. She thanked her husband profusely and of course she was not done but we are for now!

Have faith in Ram and leave all your woes at his feet, then you will have Ram Rajya. JAI HO!
