Ram the True Bramhan

While I cannot describe the pleasure I get in writing this blog, I hope that you kids are enjoying this too. It is all for you . Jai Ho!

Shiva is propounding the virtues of Ram Kathaa. He said that just as Ram was seamless, his katha, fame and attributes had no beginning or an end. The epic was like an axe that cut away at all the misery and evil of Kalyug.

Parvati had posed all these doubts to Shiva and he was very pleased. He told her, that he would tell her all that he had heard and knew. However he did not like the question she asked about Ram, if he was some other Ram about whom the Vedas sang about and the Munis meditated upon. He was sure that she was probably not thinking straight, but was asking him so that he could set her mind at rest and explain this duality.

Shiva began by showing to Parvati only those people who do not understand truth from fiction, were schemers, spent no time in the worship of Ram, would ask such a question. They were ignorant, evil and did not know what was good and bad for them. They were deluded, knew nothing about Nirgun and Sagun bramh and made up stories as they went along. But nobody should pay heed to any of this. Shiva told Parvati not to pay attention to heresay, to abandon all doubt and pray to Ram. Most of all pay attention and listen to her husband's version.

There is really no difference between Nirgun and Sagun. All the scriptures have said the same thing, that Nirgun (that which is formless and cannot be seen) turns into Sagun as soon as the love of bhaktas appear. Then the question might be asked, that how can Nirgun turn into Sagun. Well, just like there is no difference between water and snow, both are water the same way both Nirgun and Sagun are one and the same. Ram is like the sun who expels the darkness of doubt. Happiness, sadness, knowledge, ignorance etc. are all traits of humankind. Ram is permeating in all of us, he is the Supreme, the eternal Bramh and all happiness. Everybody knows that, Shiva went on to explain.

One who is the ultimate in manhood, who is the source of all light, who could be seen in every form, who was the master of the human species, and both the ethereal and material worlds, was also the Swami of Shiva. After telling Parvati that, Shiva bowed to his master and paid him his due respect.

Today Ram Rajya is about Duality! JAI HO!
